My Meds Cost too MUCH!
What to do when your patient portion is too much
While attending the national NICA conference last weekend, I had discussion with other infusion center providers. The big question was "how are you helping patients pay for their portion of the medication?" Sometimes insurance leave a big amount and patients sometimes cannot continue therapy due to the cost of the medication.
Below are a list of charitable funds with different requirements and different sources of funding. They all are limited and seem to be on a first come basis. But some practices have seen patients get funding. I would recommend getting them all set up and if they become available, then you are on the waiting list.
